Jalandhar, July 22, 2015: Always striding forward the Cambridge International School for Girls hosted the Inter Cambridge School Quiz the Brain-o-Vita on Wednesday.

Teams from six schools of the Cambridge family were the proud participants namely Cambridge International Foundation school, Cambridge International School Co-ed, Jalandhar City, Cambridge International School, Phagwara, Cambridge International School, Nawanshahr, Cambridge International School, Kapurthala and Cambridge International School for Girls, Jalandhar City.

The participants were divided into three groups-

•             Blooming Aspirants( for grades 2 to 4)

•             Budding  Intellect (for grades 5 to 8)

•             Intuitive Learners (for grades 9 to 12)

Amidst the bubbly excitement the participants were welcomed. In their honour and motivation, a dance `Mauj Ki Malhare’ was performed by CISFG girls. It also eased the butterflies in their stomach.

The Quiz Master, Mr. Anoop Sharma, was kind enough to conduct the quiz for the group- Intuitive Learners. He conducted the quiz efficiently which endeared him to both the participants and the audience.

This moment is taken to appreciate the two aspiring Quiz Masters from CISFG namely : Ms. Yashuti Sharma who conducted the quiz for Budding Intellect and Asawari  Sharda who conducted the quiz for the Blooming Aspirations. Kudoos to them!

Mr. J.K. Kohli, Executive Director LWES and  Ms. Deepa Dogra, Director Academics LWES graced the occasion.

The Brain-O-Vita Quiz, held each year, is a marked step forward for the Cambridge family as every student, of all six schools, is the participant. A written quiz(preliminary round) was first conducted in every class and it was mandatory for every student to participate. The winners of the preliminary round (written quiz) were the teams for the final round held on 22 July 2015.

Amongst the cheer and applause the trophies and certificates were given away to the winners and the participants.  Cambridge International School for Girls bagged 1st position with team members Manroop Kaur, Manya Narula , Kritika Sharma, Pariza, Khushi Kohli, Renee Kolencint and Gurnaaz Bhatia with Team named Blooming Aspirants and Budding Intellect. Cambridge International School- Co-ed bagged 1st position with team members Ayush Jain, Sehajbir S. Thind, Jhanvi Malik and Ritika Singh in Intuitive Learners. 

The vibrant, knowledge-packed day came to an end with the resonance of the National Anthem in the school campus. It has been a great learning experience for every member of the Cambridge family.
