Instructive lecture on theme of Ophthalmology with reference to process of Eye surgery

Jalandhar, March 11, 2019: An instructive lecture on the theme of Ophthalmology with reference to the process of Eye surgery was organised by the Department of Physiotherapy, Lyallpur Khalsa College. Specialist in the aforementioned technique, Dr.Antonio from London, UK was the chief orator whilst Dr.Jasdeep Singh Sandhu, Eye Specialist, Sant Sarwan Dass Charitable Hospital, Ballan, Jalandhar was also present to share his expertise on the same. College Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra and Dr.Raju Sharma Head of the Physiotherapy Department, duly welcomed the dignitaries with a bouquet of flowers. In his address, Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra welcomed the dignitaries and emphasized the need awareness regarding such techniques for their full usefulness to the society and also urged the students to seize supreme levels of knowledge from such high quality experts as present on the stage. Chief guest Dr. Antonio delivered an extensive Power Point Presentation on the theme of Ophthalmology and eloquently discussed the commonly observed disorders concerning eyes. Head of the Physiotherapy Department, Dr. Raju Sharma informed the audience about the interlinking of eye ailments to the field of Physiotherapy. Senior faculty member of the Physiotherapy Department, Dr. Jaswant Kaur delivered the vote of thanks and the lecture was also witnessed by Dr. Priyank Sharda, Dr. Richa Sharma, Prof. Komaldeep Kaur along with the faculty and students of the department.
