Innocent Hearts School, Loharan Successfully Hosts PSEB Girls Zonal Tournament (Zone-2)

Innocent Hearts School, Loharan successfully hosted the PSEB Girls Zonal Tournament (Zone No. 2). Competitions in Volleyball, Kho-Kho, and Cricket were organized for the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students of various schools.

Jalandhar, August 5, 2026: Innocent Hearts School, Loharan successfully hosted the PSEB Girls Zonal Tournament (Zone No. 2). Competitions in Volleyball, Kho-Kho, and Cricket were organized for the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students of various schools.

The tournament saw the participation of approximately 543 players. Volleyball featured 15 teams from 15 schools with around 180 players, Kho-Kho had 14 teams from 14 schools with nearly 168 participants, while Cricket witnessed 13 teams from 13 schools comprising approximately 195 players.

In Volleyball, Innocent Hearts School, Loharan secured the championship title in the U-14 category and finished runners-up in both the U-17 and U-19 categories. In Kho-Kho, the school secured the runner-up position in the U-19 category. In Cricket, Innocent Hearts School, Loharan emerged as champions in the U-19 category, while securing second position in U-14 and third position in U-17.

Dr. Anup Bowry, Chairman, Innocent Hearts Group, emphasized the importance of sports in the holistic development of students. Mr. Rajeev Paliwal, Deputy Director Sports, appreciated the sporting spirit displayed by the participants. Ms. Shallu Sehgal, Principal, Innocent Hearts School, Loharan, congratulated the winners and participants, while Mr. Sanjeev Bhardwaj, Sports Coordinator, lauded the efforts of the organizing team.

The winners and runners-up were felicitated during the closing ceremony. Sports officials, coaches, and representatives of participating schools appreciated the excellent arrangements, disciplined conduct, and sportsmanship that marked the tournament.
