Induction Programme Organised at Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus

Jalandhar, August 3, 2015: Apeejay Institute of Management organized an Induction Programme for the students of MBA I MCA I, B Com (Professional) I, BBA I and BCA I. The purpose of the Induction programme was to help the new students develop a sense of camaraderie and to acquaint them with the functioning of the institution. Since Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus believes in personal mentoring and lending unconditional support to its students, all the activities organized  aimed at making students adjust to the new environment easily. 
The programme started with the invocation of almighty and ceremonious lamp lighting. This was followed by Bhajan rendition. Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of the institution accorded a warm welcome to all the new entrants. Dr. Bagga introduced the students to the campus resources. He enumerated the amazing opportunities Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus offers to its students. He also highlighted the laurels brought by the previous students in both academics and at co-curricular front.  
Dr. Harwinder Singh, Professor, IMT Ghaziabad, was the eminent speaker on the day. He motivated the student to be inquisitive, receptive,curious learners. He stated that the present corporate environment is very complex and the students should equip themselves with the competencies to make it big in the corporate world. Dr. Singh also answered the queries of students in the interactive session after the lecture.
 Many management games and competitions as Role Playing, Bolt of Words were also organized to help the students develop camaraderie with one another. The students had a great time participating in these competitions. The expressed that these games helped them overcome their initial inhibition and develop confidence. 
The students were also shown a presentation which provided a glimpse of the achievements of Madam Sushma Paul Berlia, President Apeejay Education Society.
The students expected that the activities planned for Day 2 of Induction will further help them increase their confidence and hone their soft skills.
