HSIDC acquired 3200 acre land for Industrial Model Townships

Chandigarh,  April 3, 2015: Haryana State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC)  had acquired about 3200 acres land to develop Industrial Model Township (IMT) at Kharkhoda,  with state-of-the-art infrastructure facility.

The process of distribution of annuity to ex-land owners has already been commenced from village Rampur, under the annuity scheme of Govt. of Haryana. An amount of Rs.12 lakh has been distributed to about 35 ex-land owners.  Annuity will be paid for a period of 33 years to ensure sustained income for such ex-land owners and the present rate of annuity is Rs.21,000 per acre per annum with an annual increase of Rs.750 per acre.

The location of IMT Kharkhoda is suitable from point of view of Industrial growth and the same is well connected to the National Capital Delhi. It is also adjacent to the KMP Expressway. The Corporation would be providing all basic infrastructure services such as roads, water supply, sewerage, drainage and electrification etc. in this industrial township.

The work for construction of boundary wall around the acquired land has already been taken up and the works of development of infrastructure therein will commence shortly. This IMT would provide opportunities to entrepreneurs to set up their projects, which would benefit economy of the region.
