Haryana SIC constitutes Complaint Committee to examine complaints or matters of sexual harassment in Commission

Chandigarh, April 10, 2017: Haryana State Information Commission has constituted a Complaint Committee to examine complaints or matters of sexual harassment in the Commission.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Commission said that Complaint Committee would be headed by State Information Commissioner Dr Rekha. While Secretary, State Information Commission, Dr Sarita Malik would serve as Member Secretary, Mrs Indu Dahiya of Panchkula, Mrs Shashi Kanta, Law Officer and Mr Vikas Gandhi, Accounts Officer would act as Members of the Committee. He said that the committee would attend to and expedite action on complaints pertaining to sexual harassment received from women employees. The committee would also prepare an annual report every year and send the same to the Deputy Commissioner concerned with a copy to the Women and Child Development Department.
