Haryana CM to hold public meeting at Chhachrauli on April 6

Chandigarh, April 3, 2015: Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kanwar Pal said that upcoming public meeting of Chief Minister Manohar Lal at Chhachrauli scheduled for April 6 would set new avenues of development of the area.

Kanwar Pal said this while during a meeting at Yamunanagar today. He said that as the Chief Minister had made the people of the area happy by announcing the status of Tehsil to Khijrabad, setting up 33 KV sub-station and new wooden market in Jagadhri on December 14 last, the Chief Minister would announce a number of development projects for the people of Chhachrauli on April 6.

He said that Chief Minister is quite concerned to safeguard the interest of farmers. He had waive-off half tubewell electricity bills for previous six months and next six months whose crop loss is 50 per cent and 100 per cent waiver for those for the same period whose crop loss is 100 per cent. Similarly, interest on crop loans had also been waived off from March 2015 to February 2016. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
