Chandigarh, September 9, 2015: Hartek Power, one of India’s fastest growing Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) companies based in Chandigarh with expertise in executing high-voltage turnkey substations and power infrastructure projects, has once again demonstrated its expertise by commissioning a 66/11-KV substation on complete EPC basis at Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar in a record period of 78 days.

Going by industry standards, it usually takes four-five months to complete a 66/11-KV substation. Hartek Power has set a new benchmark by commissioning this project in nearly half the time.

Hartek Power is also expected to soon commission a 132/11-KV substation and transmission line project in Madhya Pradesh, which it had bagged from Amba Shakti on complete EPC basis.

Attributing the achievement to the company’s commitment towards quality and timely delivery, Hartek Power Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Hartek Singh said, “We specialise in fast-track execution without compromising on quality, our core value that is reflected in all the projects we have undertaken. Having set our eyes on completing the LPU substation project before the commencement of the new academic session, we left nothing to chance. Known for our reliability and professional acumen, we share a strong bond with leading capital power equipment manufacturers across India.”

Credited with executing more than 130 substations in the past seven years, Hartek Power has handled substation projects in 17 states across the country. It has been entrusted by various state electricity boards with substation projects worth Rs 60 crore, which are likely to be commissioned in this financial year. The company is also holding final-stage talks for executing substations for 200-MW solar projects in the country in the current financial year.
