Ludhiana, October 26, 2015: Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) Ludhiana Delegation led by Shri Upkar Singh Ahuja, General Secretary, called on Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab today at Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh and submitted memorandum for resolving industrial issues. The Delegation included Shri Jagbir Singh Sokhi President Sewing Machine Development Club, Shri T.R.Mishra Chairman Federation of Dying Factory Association, Shri J P Singh Jiwan President Cutting tools Manufactures Association, Shri Didarjit Singh Press Secretary CICU, Shri Kanish Kaura and Shri Naresh Bansal leading industrialists.
Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal, who also holds Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion after patience hearing agreed as under:
? Government promises to end Inspector Raj in Industrial Sector.
? Time period for VAT Secrutinity of the firms will be reduced from 6 to 3 years.
? All industrial Estates and Focal Points will be upgraded by establishing Special Purpose Vehicles by 1st Jan 2016.
? Make-in-Punjab Products will be promoted by given preference for their purchases by Punjab State Power and others Corporations.
? Permission will be granted for Multi Story Building in Industrial Areas.
? 10% Extension in Power load without any documents will be granted under Voluntary Disclosure Scheme.
? Industrial Zones are now covered for making investment of Rs. 1 Crore or above to boost investment.
? Regarding unauthorized use of electricity he allowed 3 power connections in one premises.
