Guru Nanak Dev University Administrative Appointments

Amritsar, April 1, 2015 : Guru Nanak Dev University released the list of appointments for various administrative positions for the next one year.  Prof. Paramjit Singh shall continue to act as the Dean, Academic Affairs of the University till 31 March, 2016.

The appointments are as per the following details:

A.S. Sidhu as Dean, Students Welfare; Prof. T.S. Banipal as Director Research;Prof. Subodh Kumar as Dean Alumni Association; Prof. Gurpreet Bal as Director Hospitality; Dr. Avinash Kaur Nagpal as Director Academic Staff College, Prof. Sudha Jatinder as Director AIS Centre; Prof. Raminder Kaur as Professor Incharge Publication Bureau, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur as Director, Department of Life Long Learning (Additional Charge);; Prof. Jagroop Singh Sekhon as Director Capacity Enhancement Programme and Prof. M.S. Hundal as Coordinator, Edusat

Anish Dua shall continue as Professor Incharge Public Relations; Prof. B.S. Chadha as Co-ordinator, University Industry Linkage Programme & as Nodal Officer, Intellectual Property Rights Cell (IPRs Cell); Prof. Renu Bhardwaj as Professor Incharge Examinations; Prof. R.K. Mahajan as Dean, College Development Council (till further order) and Incharge, Constituent Colleges & Regional Campuses Sathiala and Fatthu Dhinga (till further order);  Prof. Karanjit Singh Kahlon as Professor Incharge, Central Time-Table Grading System and Dr. Mohan Kumar as Reader Academic Staff College.

Jatinder Singh as Professor Incharge, Heritage Museum; Prof. Palwinder Singh as Coordinator, HPLC, Mass Spectrometer (Central Facility); Dr. Sandeep Sharma as Chief Information Security Officer, Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-in) and Prof. Amarjit Singh Bhanwer as Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (till further orders), Dr. Gurcharan Kaur as Director Placement (till further orders).

Dr. Kamlesh Singh Duggal shall continue as Associate Dean, Academic Affairs and Dean, Student’s Welfare at the University Regional Campus, Jalandhar till December 17, 2015. Dr. Sandeep Sood from Computer Science and Engineering Department, Regional Campus, Jalandhar shall act as Associate Dean, Academic Affairs and Dean, Student’s Welfare at University Regional Campus, Gurdaspur.
