New Delhi/Gurgaon, July 9, 2013: Gurgaon people have contributed Rs 5 lakh 1 thousand in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the relief work going on in Uttarakhand.

A draft of this amount was presented today in New Delhi to the Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda by the senior Deputy Mayor Yash Pal Batra.

On this occasion, he was accompanied by Councillors  Sashi Dua and  Dalip Sahni, Member of Grievance Committee  Ravinder Jain, Vice President of District Congress Gurgaon,  Satbir Singh Saini, Vaid Kishan Lal,  Om Prakash Manocha,  Subhash Kharbanda,  Sudhir,  Subhash Manchanda and others.

A candle March was taken out on 30th June in Gurgaon and an appeal was made to the people to contribute for the help of flood affected people of Uttarakhand.
