Jalandhar, April 4, 2015: Recollecting memories of school days is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose and the things that inspire you to move ahead in life. It was an emotionally charged atmosphere full of nostalgia as the students, staff and management bid farewell to those students who were stepping out into the world after graduating from Grade 12. It was inspiring to see the entire Learning Wings team (Ajay Bhatia-Chairman, Deepak Bhatia-Deputy Chairman, Nitin Kohli and Deepa Dogra-Academic Director) present to motivate the students to aspire to reach higher goals as they prepared to meet the challenges of college life. Meenu Huria (Principal) and Rashmi Saini (Coordinator) also encouraged the students to meet the challenges of life and emerge victorious by hard work and dedication. The students participated in various fun filled activities that included a ‘ramp walk’ , fun games and an interesting adventure on an item based on  the ‘haunted room’. Gurbaz Tamber was adjudged Mr. Cambridge and Monica Sokhal was the proud recipient of the Ms. Cambridge title. The best dressed student titles went to Anamika Kaur and Shanjeet Singh. The teachers presented the students with cards that carried best wishes and good luck for a bright future. The teachers were also presented with a beautiful scrapbook that delineated the essence of the teacher-student dynamics in learning and sharing as a part of the school community. The programme ended with an energetic Bhangra performance that set the tempo and got everybody moving to its rhythm. It was indeed a spectacular occasion when the students were filled with gratitude for all the love and guidance that school had offered them in all ways possible and they emotionally expressed that they would never forget what Cambridge means to them, however far they might have to go in pursuit of higher education. This brought tears to everybody’s eyes along with a sense of pride that students of the Cambridge family would now be in a position to put Cambridge on the world map in their own special way.
