Delhi, March 22, 2016: Maharaja Whiteline - a brand of Groupe SEB India, has been on a growth spree since the completion of its acquisition by the French major in the small domestic appliances.

Maharaja Whiteline is the no.1 brand in North India in food preparation category as per Francis Kanoi report 2015. The brand is all geared up to replicate the same success in all categories across all regions nationwide. While being the capital of the country, Delhi is also one of the strongest markets for the brand when it comes to revenue generation. The state witnessed an exponential growth of 62% in the sales revenue while the distribution base also saw a told fold increase in the last one year. Even for this year, Maharaja Whiteline is determined to see some great results from this region. With this strengthened determination and innovative range of products, brand is now putting a lot of focus on Delhi. Air Coolers, Juicer Mixer Grinders, Mixer Grinders, Hand Blenders, Room & Water Heaters, Fans, Dry Irons etc. are amongst the best performing products in the region.

Mr. Sunil Wadhwa, CEO, Groupe SEB India Pvt. Ltd. recently shared his views on brand’s performance in Delhi, “The region has seen an exponential growth in terms of overall sales and distribution in the past 1-2 years. North India is definitely our strongest base and Delhi being the capital city, is all the more important for us in terms of revenue augmentation. We have done extremely well in the region and these great sales as well as distribution numbers proves the same. We are bringing in our new range of Air coolers, Mixer Grinders, Hand blenders and other bestsellers, which we are certain, will be loved and appreciated by our consumers. Our Air Cooler category, has witnessed a great success last year and we are confident of replicating the same success this year as well.”

He also stated that with time, the brand has evolved as a new-age brand and is well equipped to cater to the needs of a modern Indian household who wants to have a complete value for their money and time, that too, without compromising on the design and innovation quotient of the appliance.

The brand is quite excited about the strong line-up of products which will be launched this year. Last year proved to be extremely satisfying for air coolers sale and gearing up for the upcoming summers, the brand is introducing an aesthetically superior range of air coolers to its existing range. These new variants are amongst the best offering within the category and have been developed after gaining years of experience in the category and as a result of thrust on R&D.
