Ludhiana, October 5, 2015: PCTE Group of Institutes is organizing Festaweek- A week long Cultural and Literary Festival which had a Grand Start this year again. The Festival includes TURF- Inter School Competition, KOSHISH- Intra PCTE Institutes Competition and EHSAAS- Inter College Competition which will take place.
A famous International Band, The Euphoria Band, will also be performing at Campus during the 'Koshish' on 8th October. Reports say that the Festaweek is an awaited event in the city where the bands like Indian Ocean and others have already been performing as well in the previous years.
Results of some of the events and competitions are already out. Group Discussion concluded with the results Junior wing declaring Kavneet of B.Com-2A grabbing the first position, followed by Abhinav of B.Pharma-2C on second. Senior Wing had Vipul of MBA-1C as first and Kevin of MBA-2B as second. The results of the much awaited portfolio management also went successful where students of BBA-3A, Dhruv and Aayush secured the first place in the Senior Wing and in the junior wing, B.Com-2B students, Arham and Shubhajeet were first. Debate was also ready with the results which announced B.Com final year, MBA-2B and MBA-1A taking first, second and third position respectively in the Senior Wing and BBA-2B, ATHM-1, and BHMCT-2 took the three places respectively in the Junior Wing. Everyone appreciated the skills of the participants and congratulated the winners.
The students of PCTE Group of Institutes have created a wonderful amalgamation of cultures, nationalities and ethnicity, PCTE has become the melting pot of several national and international regional tastes through various forms of expressions like dance, debate and fine arts at its annual fest. “Just imagine the amount of learning where students from 30 different countries come together and participate in one single mega fest having various literary, cultural and fine arts events. We are waiting for the event to be on the rocks soon.” said Kamalpreet Khattra student of MBA-2C.
Dr.K.N.S.Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of institutes said that the students are practicing with great zeal and enthusiasm and spirit of winning is truly demonstrated in their performances and behaviors everytime. Dr. Kang is also expecting the schools and colleges of the city to participate in the Inter Events and said that they are the future of nation and society. He further stressed that festivals like this help in nurturing young talent and provide students a platform to demonstrate their skills.
