Government Home Science College organizes “Literary Patchwork”

Chandigarh, October 30, 2021: Government Home Science College organised `Literary Patchwork’ 21 to nourish the creative potential, critical thinking and life skills of the students. To hone the artistic expressions of the students, various events such as poetry, short story, essay writing, elocution, as well as hand- writing competitions were organised. The rationale was to provide a platform to the students to showcase their talents.

More than 150 students participated in various activities. The students recited their self- composed poems and presented their arguments English, Hindi and Punjabi respectively. The judges for the various events encouraged the participants to speak enthusiastically.

The principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal, applauded the efforts of the organizing committee and encouraged the participants to come forth and showcase their talents without hesitation.
