GNA University celebrated ‘World Photography Day’

Jalandhar, August 23, 2018: Faculty of Animation & Multimedia of GNA University, Phagwara organized celebrations for “World Photography Day” on August 20, 2018 at the GU Campus for creating awareness among students about importance of the day. The highlights of the day included “Photography Workshop” conducted by Mr.Sanjit Singh possessing more than 25 years of experience in the field of photography. The day was marked by the Inauguration Ceremony bythe reverend Pro-Chancellor S.Gurdeep Singh Sihra and Vice Chancellor Dr.V.K.Rattan of GNA University. They shared their experiences and thoughts with the students and appreciated the efforts by the team of Animation & Multimedia Another highlight was “Photography Competition” for the students of various departments in the university. The students participated with their full enthusiasm and clicked the photographs in the university campus. An event based on Portfolio making event was also conducted in the campus for the university students. Students of various departments participated in the events and had a great learning and professional experience. The day concluded with Prize Distribution Ceremony where Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. V.K. Rattan along with the resource personMr. Sanjit Singh and the Head of FTM department, Mr. Baljit Singh, GNA University shared their views about importance of the World Photography Day and rewarded the winners with attractive prizes. They also encouraged the team of Animation & Multimedia to celebrate this day on a bigger platform in the coming years.
