GKU organises Rangoli and Poster Making Competition

Talwandi Sabo, January 29, 2015: Rangoli and Poster Making competition was organised in Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo. Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering and Technology, a constituent college of GKU coordinated this programme and around 100 students participated in this activity. Dr.Gagan Gupta and Er.Harpreet Kaur did great job during this competition and stated that students tried to give message via these Posters and Rangolies which will definitely help to root out the social evils from the society. During this competition students made Rangolis and Paintings on Female Foeticide, Drugs, Environment, Blood Donation and on the topics of Prevention of AIDS.

Dr. Amandeep Singh and Dr. Vijay Laxmi delievered judgement of this competition. On the basis of the judgement  in Rangoli Making Amandeep Kaur, Raghveer Kaur, Arashdeep Kaur and Robin Sandhu a team of University College of Agriculture were declared 1st, Gurminderjeet Kaur, Pavneet Kaur and Maninder Singh 2nd and Rajvinder Kaur student of GGS college of Education 3rd . Student of University College of Agriculture named Monika and Navdeep Kaur 1st, Robin Sandhu 2nd and student of GGS College of Education Shagandeep and Gurpreet Kaur got 3rd positions in Poster Making. 

Dr. N.S. Malhi Vice-Chancellor appreciated the activity by Dr. Sandeep Kautish, Principal GGSCET and his staff. He also stated that this will definitely help to develop overall personality of the students.
