Food inspectors detained at Ferozepur

Ferozepur, July 4, 2014: The Ferozepur Police has nabbed three Food Inspectors along with a truck carrying 320 bags of wasted wheat, which was allegedly stolen from PUNGRAIN godown situated at Village Madhre.
Vibhor Sharma, DSP said that the police had received complaint from Dinesh Sharma, Assistant Food and Supply Officer, PUNGRAIN, Ferozepur that three of the department officials steal wheat bags and sell them in the market.
Acting upon the complaint, the police officials performed a raid at PUNGRAIN warehouse at Village Madhre and nabbed the three Drug Inspectors along with a Truck (Number RJ20GA-0151) carrying 320 bags of wasted wheat. The driver of the truck was also detained by the police.
A case under section 409, 379 and 120B IPC was registered against the culprits.
