Festival of Navaratra celebrated by Women Sankirtan Mandal of Basant Vihar Colony

Ludhiana, October 19, 2018: The festival of Navaratra was celebrated with great devotion and celebration by the Women Sankirtan Mandal of Basant Vihar Colony situated at Jawaddi area of ??Ward no 45. Giving information about today's closing ceremony, Anita Batta, a member of the Basant Vihar Mahila Sankirtan Mandal, said that "we have been celebrating the festival of holy Navaratri for the past ten years and our objective is to spread the message of brotherhood and to make people aware of the path of religion shown by Maa Bhagwati". She further told that "today we have organized a special program, Dandiya Dance, in which along with all women of Basant Vihar Mahila Sankirtan Mandal, Smt.Barjinder Kaur, Councillor, Ward No. 45 as Chief Guest, participated in this function".
