Ludhiana, October 9, 2015: “Festaweek- Koshish, Ehsaas and Turf” ended today with a high note at PCTE. The festival where approximately 38 Teams from various Colleges of the City participated in different cultural and literary events. Dr.K.N.S.Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes gave away the prizes to the winners in glittering Prize distribution function in the evening.“Ehsaas”- Inter College literary and Cultural Event concluded on the third day here. Where about 38 teams from different colleges of the city participated with great zeal. Guru Nanak Girls college took the overall trophy by taking home the winners award in Group dance and Face Painting competition. The Second place was shared by SCD College and the Govt. College for girls.
The event was inaugrated by the Guest of honor, Head of Mission, Mr. Robert McDougall, Canadian Counsulate General, in the Canadian Embassy. Ms. Jessica Mancera, Cultural Attache of the Mexican Embassy was also one of the guests today to grace the occasion.
The India's famous pop band “Euphoria” performed live at Campus during the event. The rich Band spread like fire around the stage to showcase their talent and made each and every one present danced to their tunes. The band came first time to the city to grace the occasion and were enthusiastic to perform at the campus. The limelight was taken by Dr. Palash Sen who is an Indian singer, songwriter, musician, composer and actor best known as the founder and frontman of Euphoria.
Dr.K.N.S.Kang, Director General PCTE Group of Institutes said that festival like Ehsaas gave great learning’s to the students. Through these events students learn the art of being self reliant and develop a kind of competitive spirit of winning which in turn help them in facing the biggest challenges in their professional and personal life. Dr. Kang Further said that the amount of competition that took place in various events can be seen only at National level Youth festival, such was the talent and skills on display by the students. He further congratulated the winning teams and blessed them.
