FEROZEPURITES happy with approval of PGI Satellite Centre for them

Ferozepur, February 3, 2013: Before partition, Ferozepur known as the biggest district of Punjab, was never equipped with health services facility.  The Ferozepur has become backward, after the partition of country, then bifurcation of Punjab and later on formation of Moga, Faridkot, Muktsar and recently Fazilka districts. The people of Ferozepur were deprived of better health services, higher education and on non-setting up of industrial units. 

However, after 66 years of India ’s independence, there is a ray of hope with the efforts and initiative taken by  Ferozepur City MLA, Parminder Singh Pinki.

The people of Ferozepur are happy with the announcement of PGI Satellite Centre Hospital and State Eye Hospital at a cost of Rs.200 crores and at crores of rupees of emergency ward. 

There are different views of persons of Ferozepur.

Inder Singh Gogia, president NGOs Coordination Committee, Ferozepur appreciated the initiative taken by the Parminder Singh Pinki as sometime the people have to rush to nearest stations of Amrtisar, Ludhiana and even to Chandigarh in the event of any emergency and in certain cases, the patients die before reaching the hospital even.

Ravi Kant Gupta, MD, Dev Raj Technical Group thanked the Centre Government for construction of PGI State Eye Hospital and Taruma Ward and now the poor people would also be in a position to get the best medical treatment at the lower cost.  This facility would not be available only for Ferozepur but for whole of the Malwal Belt.

Gaurav Chopra, president Youth FIST Welfare Society said, with the coming of these new projects, the appearance of  Ferozepur would now be changed which was the need of the time and it will not be backward now and there would be over all development.
