Farewell to computer science students at GKU

Talwandi Sabo, November 26, 2014: A farewell party ‘ADIEU’ was organised by the Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering & Technology for the B.Tech CSE final year out going students. The function was organised in the Main Auditorium of the Campus. Dr N.S Malhi, Vice-Chancellor, GKU was the Chief Guest of the programme and Dr B.S Dhaliwal, Dean Academics, Satish Goswami, Registrar, Dr Narinder Singh, Director Finance and Dr Ashwani Sethi, Principal GGSCET appeared as special guests. Junior students performed cultural items like Gidha, Bhangra, Songs & Dances. In Modeling, Questioning and dare round contest Anshu Kumar Rai & Sukhpreet Kaur were declared Mr. & Miss. Farewell respectively. 

Vice-Chancellor, Dr. N.S.Malhi blessed the students with motivational words and shared that during such functions student should include intellectual and academic contents in their cultural items. This will put educational shadow upon the audience and will grace the occasion positively rather than mere dancing and singing. 

Prof. Sukhdevinder Singh Kaurra (PRO) and Prof. Arshdeep Singh (TPO) delivered judgments during the modeling rounds. Apart from others all the Deans, Directors and other officers were present in the function.
