Entrepreneurs to get 100% Reimbursement of Air tickets

Ludhiana, March 14, 2015: Kamal Chopra Chairman, International Relations, AIFMP and General Secretary Offset Printers’ Association, Ludhiana  is leading a group  of 146 printers from all corners of India to visit industrial exhibitions at china. Chopra informed that this group visit is supported by the Government of India, Ministry of MSME under International Cooperation scheme. He said, it is for the first time that 100% airfare will be reimbursed by the government against the 75% reimbursement s, earlier.

OPA is the only association of India to maximum utilise the international cooperation scheme, It is worth mentioning here that OPA got the reimbursements of 7 international visits so far with a total amounting to approx 80,00,000 for distribution to the delegates who visited international exhibitions under the banner of OPA.

Giving details of the proposed visit, Kamal Chopra informed that Prof. Wang Yongsheng, Vice Chancellor of the Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, invited him to visit Print China 2015 exhibition at Dongguan (China) during April next. This visit is being planned for the close study of Print Education at China.

It is evident that under the international cooperation scheme of the Ministry of MSME, during the year 2013-14, 56 delegations consisting of 700 entrepreneurs were supported with financial assistance of Rs.4.44 crore under the Scheme. The countries which the delegations have visited include Italy, South Africa, China, USA, Australia, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Japan etc."Under this scheme, the entrepreneurs are encouraged to visit overseas exhibitions to learn and understand the latest developments, to increase quality production to withstand the increasing global competition. 

Chopra added that after 100% reimbursed in airfare, more and more entrepreneurs will visit the overseas exhibition and this will help the entrepreneurs to adopt the latest machinery and technology.
