Earth Day being observed at BCM School, Dugri, Ludhiana on Wednesday.
Ludhiana, April 22, 2015: The world Earth Day was celebrated in the school premises with the thought.
“Natural resources get depleted when they are used Human resources get depleted when they are not used”. Several events are organised story enactment based on nature was held by the students of class III. A rally with various posters & slogans was taken out in which the teachers also actively participated. In the middle wing, a Hindi poem recitation was organised for VI Std. The event was judged by Sharanjit Kaur & Kiran Thapar. Students care for the Earth & environment was clearly reflected in their poems. The first three position holders were Avya Gupta, Keshav Sharma & Sargam Goyal respectively. Dr. Vandna Shahi congratulated the winners & motivated the students to show concern for their mother nature & advised them to avoid exploitation of the same.
