Members of E-Panchayat Employees Union observe hunger strike on the third consecutive day at Ferozepur against the district administration and state government.
Ferozepur, January 2, 2014: Members of E-Panchayat Employees Union continued their hunger strike on the third consecutive day against the district administration and state government.
It is pertinent to mention that the employees of the E-Panchayat Employees Union have not got their salaries for the last eighteen months, however all their pleas to the state government have fallen on deaf ears till date. Amritpal Singh, Joint Secretary of Punjab Subordinate Service Federation (PSSF), stated that all the high claims of Punjab Government regarding the development of the state have been exposed. The government is spending huge amount of money in vain but procrastinating in giving salaries to the needy and dedicated employees. The Punjab Subordinate Service Federation is supporting the employees in their crusade.
