Encroachments being removed at Ferozepur on Monday.
Ferozepur, January 6, 2014: Taking stern action against the encroachers, DSP Vibhor Sharma along with Jasvir Singh, In-charge, Police Station Cantt, Vishaljeet Singh, In-charge, City Police station, Dharampal Singh, Executive Officer, Municipal committee, removed the encroachment opposite Amar Hospital at railway bridge, with the help of police force at around twelve p.m. today.
Inspite of protests made by the shopkeepers, the administration performed its duty and warned shopkeepers not to make any kind of encroachment in the near future.
DSP Vibhor Sharma informed that one way traffic was started at the railway bridge, keeping in view the heavy rush in the peak hours. But the residents were still facing huge problems due to the encroachment on the link road. After the removal of the encroachment, this road shall be widened so there will no problem to anyone.
