Dr Rajeev Kumar Sharma gets best science Teacher Award

Jalandhar, February 12, 2016: Dr Rajeev Kumar Sharma gets the best science Teacher Award by Punjab Academy of sciences , Patiala and was honored with a cash price of rupees 11000, A gold medal and a merit certificate .
Punjab Academy of Sciences Awarded the best science teacher award for college science teachers , to Dr Rajeev Kumar Sharma from chemistry department of Dav college jalandhar for his incredible contribution in Teaching and research , and this award was presented to him in the valedictory function of 19th Punjab Science Congress , Mohali .
Punjab academy of sciences , Patiala established in 1996 to promote science and technology in Punjab and to project the contributions of Punjab scientists at national and international level and to encourage teachers and researchers , they present awards every year .
Principal Dr BB Sharma quoted " hard work is bound to be awarded always , Dr Rajeev is an exemplary Personality and his contributions to the field of Science and technology and his exclusive research work on the field of polymers is exemplary , and he has been pursuing various such assignments . I am happy at his achievement and I know there is much more for him to come and achieve " .
Dr Rajeev Kumar Sharma at getting this award quoted " I am glad enough at this achievement , and this is not just an achievement , its a stern encouragement to help me work more extensively and contribute my best to the field of Science and technology . Presently I am working on a project to prepare novel material from waste biomass for metal ion separation application . I am thankful to Punjab academy of sciences for this great honour " .
