Chandigarh, July 7, 2015: Dr Bharati Garg, Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration, Panjab University (PU) has been invited to participate in the Annual Conference of the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA). The international conference is being organised in collaboration with the Centre National de
la Fonction Publique Territirale (CNFPT) from July 6 to 10 at Paris, France.
The theme of the Conference is "Alternative Service Delivery Arrangements". She will present her paper entitled ''Ënsuring Effectiveness of Public Service Delivery through the Right to Information Act, 2005: A Case Study of Chandigarh".
Dr. Bharati Garg has presented papers in various national conferences. Besides Dr. Bharati, Dr. Jaswinder Kaur, Research Associate in the Department of Public Administration, PU and Mr. Namit Kumar from the same department would also be participating in the Conference and presenting their joint paper.
SIA is an association of organisations and individuals whose activities and interests focus on public administration and management. The annual conference is the core activity of IASIA. The conference brings together practitioners, academics, Ph.D.students and young researchers in public administration and management, as well as contributors from any other disciplines to exchange their views on the theme of the Conference.
The conference is held in a different region each year to facilitate participation of individuals from each of the seven regions and so as to make the Association more accessible to staff of its member organisations.
