Jalandhar, April 21, 2015: Dr BB Sharma, Principal DAV College Jalandhar, declared as "Best Principal" by DAV College Management Committee, New Delhi.
DAV College Management Committee is going to celebrate Mahatma Hansraj Day at Thodo Ground, Solan and principal Dr BB Sharma will be honoured as the Best Principal on this occasion. This award is given by Dav College Management Committee every year in the field of education to the heads of Dav institutions for their meritorious and excellent contributions and consequently the award is honoured upon.
Principal Dr BB Sharma will receive this award for his hard work, dedication, devotion and efforts made in the favour of Dav College Jalandhar.
It must be remembered that under his tenure, DAV College has reached new heights. College bagged 3.76/4 points, highest amongst all other institutions in country, for the best level Co- education. College also recorded the highest number of admissions under the leadership of Principal Dr BB Sharma.
During principal Dr Sharma's tenure, KK Bhagat for alumnus block donated Rs 1 crore for college funds.
For this historic achievement, teaching, non teaching staff as well as students congratulated Principal Dr BB Sharma.
