DMC & HOSPITAL CONDUCTS PUBLIC HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMME AT VILLAGE ALAMGIR IN LUDHIANA

Ludhiana, February 11, 2018: A Public Health Awareness Programme was conducted by DMC & Hospital on 11 FEB 2018 at village Alamgir, Ludhiana.

At this programme thorough Medical Check-up of 128 patients was done by team of Doctors from DMC & Hospital. Free of cost Blood Pressure monitoring, Blood Sugar and ECG were done. The prescribed medicines were provided free by the Hospital.

Most of the patients examined were having High Blood pressure levels and cardiac problems which they were unaware of. Patients were very thankful to the team for reaching at their doorsteps and providing the necessary medical examination and treatment advice.

People were educated about precautions, good eating habits and things to be avoided to live a healthy life and that early detection of disease is very helpful in proper and timely cure.People were also educated about the benefits of various medical insurances and Govt. schemes providing medical facilities to the general public.

Sarpnch Jagdeep singh, Panch S.Jung Singh, Inderjeet kaur, gurdeep singh along with social worker charan singh and Manveer singh from village Gill and the villagers present at the programme thanked the DMCH Management for such informative programme and said that they were highly benefitted by the check up, investigations and the medicines given and requested for more such programmes in future.
