Diwali Celebration in Cambridge International School

Jalandhar, October 28, 2016: Diwali is a festival of happiness which spreads its wings everywhere and generates a mood of togetherness. To instill a mood of festivity, bonding , love and care among students , Diwali celebrations were done in school premises on Friday, in which students and the teachers participated enthusiastically.
A fun filled and entertaining assembly was arranged by the students of house on duty. After Diwali puja , various presentations like poem, speech etc were showcased which entertained the students immensely. A message on eco friendly Diwali was delivered and oath against using Chinese products was taken.
To add in to the mood of festival, many activities like Diya decoration, Candle decoration and Toran making were also conducted.
LWES Chairman Mr. Ajay Bhatia, LWES Deputy Chairman Mr. Deepak Bhatia, Executive Director LWES Mr. J.K. Kohli, CEO LWES Dr Birjesh, Director LWES Mr. Nitin Kohli, Chief Education Officer LWES Ms. Deepa Dogra, Directors of Education LWES Ms Meenu Huria, Ms. Preeti Sharma and Director and Principal Ms. Kiranjoth Dhillon congratulated the students on this festival and advised them to spread the feeling of love and care everywhere. They also applauded the house on duty for putting up such a fantastic show.
