DAVIET students selected by Research Centre Pharmaceutical Engineering (RCPE), Austria

Jalandhar, November 28, 2017: The 2 students from various Departments of DAVIET were selected by Research Centre Pharmaceutical Engineering (RCPE), Austria for Internship.
Research Centre Pharmaceutical Engineering, Austria performs cutting-edge research in the field of process and product optimization. The main focus is on the development of new drug delivery systems and the associated production processes and their monitoring. Application-oriented research and development projects are carried out in collaboration with industrial and scientific partners and their goal is to strengthen their partners’ competitive edge and their economic success in the market by helping them develop novel products and production processes.
The ecstatic students while giving the details of the offer shared that his designation in the company will be Research Intern and will get stipend of 400 Euro per month during Internship. The Selected Students Vishal Gupta and Himanshu Katyal shared that they will work within projects in pharmaceutical engineering with RCPE Scientific team. During internship we will be incorporated in ongoing research and development activities to carry out analysis of relevant raw materials, intermediates and products that support execution of test runs in pilot scale and implementation of in-line monitoring methods aiming process and quality control. The selected students shared that they had started preparing early and concentrated on developing their interpersonal skills along with the enhancing their knowledge about the core areas. They shared that to suit the needs of the company a special effort was done to learn Various Fabric Filters, Carbon Fiber Filters, ESP and Wet Scrubber.
Mr. Sushil Prashar (Head, Department of Training and Placement) appreciated the hard work put in by students and highlighted that special efforts were done to make them ready for Written Test,Group discussion and Interviews. He shared that special guest lectures and workshops were organized from time to time to make the students sharpen their skills to face such interviews confidently. He provided the split of the selected students and stated that students were selected from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He thanked the principal of the institution Dr. Manoj Kumar for his continuous support and guidance.
Dr. Manoj Kumar, Principal DAVIET congratulated the students on their success. He wished them the best of luck for all their future endeavours. He highlighted that DAVIETians have always been passionate about placements and special efforts are done to make them industry ready. He stated that the success of selected students stands for the hard work and commitment of DAV administration to provide its students the best possible exposure so that they can make a mark for themselves. He also congratulated Department of Training and Placement and Faculty who guided the students and urged them to keep up the good work.
