DAV’s former Principal CL Arora passes away; Rasam Utthala on Jan 28

Jalandhar, January 27, 2014: DAV College’s former Principal C L Arora passed away on Sunday. He was a learned educationist, loved and dedicated teacher and an efficient organiser. Efforts made by him in the field of education can never be forgotten. From 1977 to 1980 he served wholeheartedly with DAV College, Jalandhar as an effective and efficient principal. Even after retirement he was associated with the DAV organisation as he served as vice-president for DAV College Managing committee New Delhi. He was also a member of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi.
To pay homage to the departed soul, under the Principal of DAV College, Jalandhar, Dr. B.B. Sharma, all the principals from DAV schools and colleges in Jalandhar had a meeting to remember and pay tribute to the deceased. His selfless services were remembered during the meet.
Arora’s corpse was cremated at 5 pm, on Monday at Harnamdaspura.
