Dalai Lama condoles former Polish PM Tadeusz Mazowiecki’s demise

Dharamsala, October 30, 2013: Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama has condoled former Polish PM’s demise.

According to a press release the office of Dalai Lama issued from Dharamsala on Wednesday that Dalai Lama has written a letter to the family of late Tadeusz Mazowiecki, the first Prime Minister of Poland after the fall of communism in 1989. He has expressed his sadness and offered his prayers and condolences.

Dalai Lama recalled his several meetings with Mazowiecki and expressed his admiration for his leadership.

He also remembered him as a friend and steady supporter of the Tibetan people.

Tadeusz Mazowiecki died on Monday at the age of 86. www.cityairnews.com
