CT University organizes Hostel Premier League Season 2

Ludhiana, October 14, 2021: CT University organized a flagship series of events under ‘Hostel Premier League’ (HPL) - Season 2, which was launched by CTU Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi and the show took off with cultural showcase in the form of dance by the students of CTU from different states and countries. The one-week programme comprised with fun activities, board games like Carrom, Chess, Sports activities like Basketball, Badminton, Tug of War, Cricket and Football and concluded with a fashion show.

More than 300 students and faculty from 5 countries and more than 12 states participated in all the activities. The winners remained Team Summer Caps in Cricket (boys), Team Ball Busters (Volleyball), Team Covid-19 Warriors (Football); for student fashion show Jarnail Singh bagged the title of ‘Mr Charming’ and ‘Ms Charming’ title went to Nishtha; whereas for faculty’s fashion show, ‘Mr Handsome’ remained Lecturer, School of Design and Innovation, Sahil Verma and ‘Ms Elegant’ remained Assistant Professor Ms Preeti, School of Design and Innovation.

Director Cultural, Dr Sachin Sharma, said, “These series are focusing on bringing out the best in a student on an informal note, whereas, this talent can be shaped for the future national or international formal events. These in-house platforms can let students shun the hesitation and stage fear which can be beneficial for the student’s future."

Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi and Vice Chancellor Dr Harsh Sadawarti congratulated the winners and extended best wishes for Season-3.
