Jalandhar, January 22, 2015: An Inter-college Skill-in-teaching and On-the-spot teaching Aids Preparation Competitions were organised in M.K.College of Education at Shahpur campus of CT Group of Institutions in which 15 Colleges of Education from different parts of Punjab took part.

The competition was organised in collaboration with CT College of Education, which was organised in 3 categories: Teaching of S.St/History/Pol. Science, Teaching of Science/Maths and Teaching of Commerce/Economics.

The students displayed their talent in teaching and in preparing Teaching Aids. Innocent Hearts College of Education won the overall trophy. On the other hand in Commerce (Eco.) category M.G.N College of Education, Innocent Hearts College of Education and Ramgarhia College of Education, Phagwara won the first, second and third position respectively  while CT College of Education got consolation prize for the category.

Kuldeep Grewal (Principal, CT College of Education) shared that the event was organized to brush up their teaching skills. In S.ST (History)- Pol. Science category, Kamla Nehru College of Education, Phagwara secured the first position following Innocent Hearts College of Education won second and M.G.N College of Education won third position.

In Maths-SC category, Innocent Hearts College of Education won first place, Sri Guru Angad Dev College of Education, Khadoorsahib secured second and third position was won by M.K. College of Education. The consolation prize in this category was won by Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Education, Mukerian. The winners of the competition were awarded by Dr. Manoj Kumar (Group Director).

Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman) and Dr. Manoj Kumar (Group Director) praised the efforts made by the students and appreciated the hard work required in the teaching profession to change the fate of the society.
