Multispecialty Health Camp being organised by CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar on Tuesday.
Jalandhar, October 20, 2015: “Prevention is better than cure” is an old adage that the CT Group of Institutions believes in. A Multispecialty health camp was held by CT Group of Institutions at its Maqsudan campus with the humble aim to provide the best health care to our society.
Doctors from “Global Hospital”, Jalandhar provided selfless service in various specialties such as Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Gynecology and General Medicine. The health camp was attended by more than 1000 people; free medicines were also distributed by students of CT Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CTIPS) as per the prescription given by the doctors.
The team of Doctors from “Global Hospital”, Jalandhar who provided quality service with a gentle humane touch were as follows: Dr. Navjot Singh Dahiya (Orthopedics), Dr. Dheeraj Bhatia (Medicine), Dr. Mandeep Sood (Ophthalmology), Dr. Amanpreet Singh (Pediatrics), Dr. Ishveen Kaur (Gynecology) along with Mr. Parvez Akhtar (GM, Operations).
Dr. Navjot Singh Dahiya (Orthopedics) thanked CT Group of Institutions for their invaluable support and shared the importance of good health. He shared that due to current lifestyle, pollution, stress etc, a range of health problems are seen at a very young age which can be prevented by going for regular health check-ups and taking care of one’s health.
Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) too discussed the importance of health and the necessity to go for regular health check-ups. “Health is Wealth” and a “Sound Mind resides in a Healthy Body” are the precious thoughts he shared. He thanked the doctors from “Global Hospital”, Jalandhar for their selfless service rendered during the health camp.
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) stressed on the need for healthcare in today’s scenario where stress and strain lead to a multitude of health related issues. He said that regular health check-ups are a must to keep oneself fit and fine and ready to face the world with a healthy body and peaceful mind.
