CoCubes signs MoU with Association of HR Professionals, Sri Lanka

New Delhi, November 17, 2015: CoCubes Technologies Pvt Ltd, a leading online assessment and campus hiring platform, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Association of HR Professionals (HRP), which is an alliance of Sri Lanka’s top human resource professionals. With this, CoCubes has become the preferred choice of companies in Sri Lanka for an array of skill assessment services.
 
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in Gurgaon, India by Ms.Chiranthi Cooray, President of HRP and Chief Human Resources Officer of Hatton National Bank PLC, and Mr.Harpreet Singh Grover, Co-founder and CEO of CoCubes, in the presence of Mr. Ishan Dantanarayana, Group Chief People Officer of Brandix; Mr. Asitha Jayatunga, Former President HRP and Director (HR), Expolanka Holdings PLC; and Mr. Kunal Bedarkar, Vice President (Corporate Relations) of CoCubes.
 
Sri Lanka is the fourth overseas destination after United States, Africa and Japan where CoCubes provides skill assessment services.
Speaking about the tie-up with CoCubes, HRP President Ms. Chiranthi Cooray said, “Online skill testing is a fast and credible solution to meet the need for a quick turnaround of talent sourcing by high performing organizations. Cocubes-powered tests introduced to Sri Lanka by HRP will help organisations reach optimal return on investment by providing customised plug-ins to already existing online learning management systems. The tests can be purchased even without a learning management system and administered via web portals”.
 
CoCubes Co-founder and CEO Mr. Harpreet Singh Grover said, “HRP has taken multiple initiatives to increase awareness of global solutions among HR professionals in SriLanka. CoCubes looks forward to the partnership with HRP to deliver credible assessments for Sri Lankan companies”.
 
Online skill assessment test evaluates job candidates’ ability in English grammar, comprehension, verbal ability, analytical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude. The test carries multiple choice questions in each section which the candidate has to answer within a specified time. Only those candidates who score more than the threshold move forward in the hiring process.
 
According to World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report, Sri Lanka is transitioning from factor-driven stage to efficiency-driven stage. This underlines the importance of talent sourcing to meet the challenges of the transition to efficiency-driven stage.
