CMC students bring laurels to the institution

Ludhiana, September 28, 2018: At the post graduate examination (May-June 2018) conducted by Baba Farid University, Punjab, Christian Medical College (CMC), Ludhiana through its students, continued the rich tradition of academic excellence by topping the marks list in general medicine, pharmacology, orthopaedics, anesthesia, paediatrics and gynaecology. Dr.Elsa Joy (MD General Medicine), Dr.Rejul K.Raj (MS Orthopaedics), Dr.Swati Choudhary (MD Pharmacology), Uday Kiran Reddy (PG Diploma Anesthesia), Dr.Vinodhini V (PG Diploma Child Health), Dr.Naina Kapoor (PG Diploma obstetrics and gynaecology) were the ones responsible for the honours, as they got first ranks.

These students come from different parts of India, different cultures and religions, but share the zeal of dedication and hard work instilled in them at CMC Ludhiana. Dr. Jeyaraj Pandian Principal CMC appreciated all students who appeared in the exams and congratulated them for the excellent result.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. William Bhatti, Director, CMC Hospital said, a passion to serve runs through each of them and the College administration, faculty and student body wish them the best in the years to come. He further added that, CMC, Ludhiana does not believe in the examination being an end in itself. The patient will be the true test of a doctor and we hope all those who pass from CMC will stand the real test when the time of reckoning comes.
