Foundation stone of Polytechnic institute laid at Dalaash
Shimla, September 10, 2017: Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh dedicated developmental projects amounting to Rs. 60 crores in Anni constituency of district Kullu today. He laid foundation stone of Polytechnic institute at Dalaash, which would be constructed by spending a sum of Rs.26.25 crore besides recurring expenditure of Rs.4.75 crore. There would be five engineering branches in the Polytechnic with intake of 60 in each branch. This amounts to intake of 300 students per year. He had announced thus institute at Dalash few months back.

Virbhadra Singh inaugurated newly constructed 50 bed civil hospital building at Nirmand completed with an outlay of Rs 3.16 crore, Irrigation and Public Health sub-division at Dalash and stadium at Nirmand on which Rs. 2.30 crore were incurred. He also inaugurated Kedas bridge over Kurpan Khud on completed at a cost of Rs. 1.67 crore.

He inaugurated water supply scheme to Deem Dobha and Marehari at Arsu constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.46 crore that would benefit around 3500 people of the area.

The Chief Minister disbursed bonus and milk buckets to milk producers and handed over milk booth.

Virbhadra Singh laid foundation stone of government degree college building at Nirmand for which provision of rupees five crore has been made initially. The total expenditure for completion of college would be around Rs. 12.50 crore.

He laid foundation stone of water supply scheme Shilla-Bona-Sarga and Kushwa- Kindla in Gram Panchayat Sarga on which Rs. 2.42 crore would be spent. This scheme would benefit population of around 2200 of the region.

He laid foundation stone of various other water supply schemes under Gram Panchayat Chail. The Chail-Sarahan-Nore and Rahnoo water supply schemes would be completed with an outlay of Rs. 4.58 crore and benefit a population of around 5000.

The Chief Minister laid foundation stone of Ayurvedic Dispensary building Deogi at Urtoo on which Rs. 25 lakh would be spent.
