CICU Urges to Claim from Dera Sacha Sauda for loss of Industry

Ludhiana, August 28, 2017: S.Avtar Singh, President CICU & S.Upkar Singh Ahuja, General Secretary, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), Ludhiana said in a joint statement that due to the terror and violence created by the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda, the industry has suffered huge losses to the tune of Rs.10000 Crores.
It is well mentioned that Hotel and Food Industries were effected badly due to the uncertain conditions prevailed in the Country.
They further said that there was no business and industrial production because of the fear in the minds of the industrialists as well as in the mind of the workers which lead to huge loses.
The industry has failed to the keep commitment for the supply of Goods to OEMs & Exports. The manufactures of the Auto Parts were not able to supply Scooter and Car parts on regular basis. They have to send material by Air at huge cost to fulfill the commitments.
The Foreign Business Delegates have not visited Ludhiana and the industry could not get the further orders. The foreign business delegates have rushed backed and the reputation of the Ludhiana industry is ruined. The closer of the Trains, Buses and Internet Services have also damaged the business of the MSMEs of Country.
They have requested that the loss of to the tune of Rs. 10000 Crores, which is visible and no visible, may please be compensated and requested the State Government to provide the details of losses to the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court.
