Ludhiana, April 6, 2017: CICU Executive held with Industry Association Chamber along with the affiliated Associations on 5th April, at CICU complex, Focal point, Ludhiana.

Sh.Avtar Singh President, CICU said for the upcoming amendments in Income Tax and GST announced by the Central Government has disturbed industrialist for making business more complicated particularly revenue expenditure Paid in cash in excess of Rs.10,000/- to be disallowed. Thus, the threshold limit of cash payments to a person in a day has been reduced from Rs.20,000/- to Rs.10,000/-. Executive Committee member also discussed various Industrial issues related to central & State Government & Moreover discussed on GST Implementation & Changes in Income Tax Act,1961.

Sh. Upkar Singh Ahuja, General Secretary CICU said Chamber has always worked for the upgradation of MSME sector and by end of the year 2017 Chamber is completing 50 years of success. We promise the same enthusiasm and efforts Chamber will deliver for up liftment of industries in Punjab by laisiong with the newly formed Punjab Government.

Sh. Ashok Juneja (Vice President CICU & President District Bar Association), discussed about Income Tax and GST being framed for their implementation and highlighted the effects for MSME industries.

The Chamber management assured the Committee members that the detail report will be sent to Finance Minister for their reconsideration.
