CICU delegation meets with PPCB Chief Engineer

Ludhiana, August 8, 2018: Upkar Singh Ahuja, President and Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) in a joint statement said that the industry is facing numerous problems related to PPCB. They further said that the Industry is fully unaware of Green, White and Orange Category, in which category they are existing.
They also said that the PPCB raising notice to the Members for submission of Balance Sheet. CICU strongly raised objection to PPCB for this and more transparency.
Pardeep Gupta, Chief Engineer, PPCB assured that they will only ask for List of Machineries instead of balance sheet and more transparency, more Cooperation from the PPCB officials.
Jaswinder Singh Thukral (President) Janta Nagar Small Scale Manufacturers Association said that the members are received electricity disconnection from PPCB.
Pardeep Gupta, Chief Engineer, PPCB said that the PPCB follows the policy as per the guidelines issued by government.
Anil Gupta, General Secretary, Association of Focal Point Industry emphasized the parks are filled with dying fly ashes and sewerage water.
Pardeep Gupta, Chief Engineer, PPCB assured that the suitable action will be taken against such factories.
The meeting was attended by Manmohan Singh Ubhi, Sanjeev Gupta, Lokesh Dhall, Rahul Gupta, Bhushan Gupta and Vineet Gupta.
