Jalandhar, January 15, 2015: Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya got the status of College of Excellence by University Grants Commission, New Delhi.
To celebrate this achievement and to congratulate the HMV family, H.R.Gandhar, Advisor to President, DAV College Managing Committee came specially from Delhi. He congratulated Principal Dr.Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj, teaching and non-teaching staff members. Principal Dr. Bhardwaj welcomed him. In the morning assembly, he addressed the students and said this is historical moment in the history of DAVCMC and HMV. It is a matter of great pride to get the status of College of Excellence. He encouraged the students to have a positive attitude. He said that positive thinking and innovation is must for life. We should also thank and act in an innovative way. The staff and the students danced with the beats of the Dhol to celebrate the achievement.
On this occasion, Dean Academics and NAAC Coordinator Meenakshi Syal, Dean Holistic Development Dr. Jasbir Rishi, Dean Student Council Archana Kapoor, Dean Examination Mamta, all the Heads of Departments, teaching and non-teaching staff members and students were present.
