Jalandhar, March 3, 2015: KMV, Jalandhar’s P.G Department of Hindi in Collaboration with Bhartiya Anuvaad Parishad, New Delhi organised a two-day workshop on Translation.
In Punjab, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya is the first institution which in collaboration with Bhartiya Anuvaad Parishad has been organising this workshop for the past three years.
Dr. Puran Chand Tandon, Director Bhartiya Anuvaad Parishad, Dr. Dinesh Chander Dixit, former Director Hindi Central Directorate, New Delhi and Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Assistant Director Hindi Central Directorate were the resource persons. Dr. Vinod Kalra, Head, P.G. Department of Hindi welcomed the learned resource persons. The erudite speakers acquainted the students with the skill and technique of translating poems, prose and technical vocabulary.
The Principal of KMV, Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed gratitude towards the resource persons and lauded the efforts of the members of P.G. Department of Hindi for organising this workshop.
