New Delhi, August 5, 2014:The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered three cases on charges of criminal conspiracy, cheating and criminal misconduct Under Section 120 B Read with Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 13 (1) (d) r/w 13 (2) Prevention of Corruption Act Act 1988 against Chhattisgarh a based private company & its promoter/Directors; Members of 35th Screening Committee; public servants and others in the allocation of Fatehpur coal block, Vijay Central coal block and Rawanwara coal block respectively.
This was stated by the spokesperson of the CBI today, he said that it was alleged that company has misrepresented on aspect of preparedness and was ineligible on aspect of net worth.
Searches were conducted by the CBI sleuths at Mumbai, Raigarh, Raipur and Delhi. Investigation is continuing.
