Ludhiana, March 19, 2015: Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust Punjab today held a press conference to apprise about the holding of Nasha Mukti Daur (mini marathon) in association with Social Security & Women & Child Development Chandigarh. 
Narinder Mittal, Secretary of the Trust said that Punjab Government is working hard to eradicate Drug addiction from Punjab and save the youth from its bad effects on their health and their family life. He further told that people above the age of 14 years can take part in this race. He added 2000-2500 school, colleges & people from NGOs will participate in this race.
Mittal added this Mini Marathon is being organised on March 22 at 7 AM. The race will start from Viklang Sahayata Kender, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana and will pass through Telephone Exchange, Hambran Road, Ram Sharnam, KVM School, Dandi Swami Chowk, Old Court Chowk, Govt. College Road, Rose Garden, PAU Gate No. 4, Lord Mahavira Homeopathy College, Hambran Road, Kali Mata Mandir, Telephone Exchange and culminate at Viklang Sahayata Kender Ludhiana. 
He further said that there are 5 categories in this race. There will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes for each category. Prize money of Rs. 5100, 3100 and 2100 respectively will be given to the winners.
