BSF recovers one Kg heroin worth Rs.5 Crore

Ferozepur, April 12, 2017: One Kg heroin worth Rs.5 Crore was recovered today by BSF troops belonging to 77 Battalion. B.S.Rajpurohit, DIG, Ferozepur said that a special search operation was carried out by BSF officials at BoP M P Fwd today morning. During the search one packet of contraband, suspected to be heroin was recovered from the fields ahead of border fence. It is worth mentioning here that the BSF sleuths from Punjab Frontiers have recovered 65.56 Kg heroin during this year till now.
