Ludhiana, October 29, 2015: Feeling the need of reviving ancient wealth of folk songs and rich Punjabi culture in this modern era of meaningless, crude rap and jazz; members of Punjabi Articulators’ Club of BCM Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh Road organised a Folk Song Competition among the students of secondary classes. The students participated with great fervor and filled the atmosphere with melodies of bygone eras. Harmanjot of X-F, Gaurav of X-J and Prabhpret Kaur of X-A got first, second and third prize respectively.
