Jalandhar, November 1, 2014: Azra Nasir of Lahore will lead the Rest of Pakistan Women hockey team, which will participate in 31st Indian Oil Servo Surjit Hockey Tournament, in pregress here at here at local Olympian Surjit Hockey stadium, Burlton Park.
According to Iqbal Singh Sandhu, organising Secretary of the 31st Indian Oil Servo Surjit Hockey Tournament that as per the information received from Ajmal Khan Lodhi, Hon. Secretary, Pakistan Hockey Association (PHA) that the Rest of Pakistan women hockey team's 24 members contingent will arrive Jalandhar on November 2. The other members of the team are Rizwana Yasmeen, Syeda Sadia Nawazish, Saba Saeed, Aqeela Naseem, Marina Anwar, Amna Meer, Zakia Nawaz, Aasia Siddique, Ambreen Arshad, Nazia Rehmat, Maria Sabir, Hina Kanwal (Vice-Capt), Kalsoom Shahzadi, Fakhara Nayab, Taskeen Kausar and Ayesha Bashir.
The officials of the team are the officials with team are Sonia Khan (Team Manager), Olympian Tariq Sheikh (Head Coach), Mujahid Afzal (Coach), Sohail Ashraf (Coach), Dr. Shaista Anjum (Team Doctor), Ms. Nadia Danish (Physiotherapist). The Rest of Pkaistan will play its first match on Nov. 4 against Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala.
